://[introduction]/ Welcome to Issue 1 of hax0rs (pronounced hackers). Today I will be telling you about password protection. This magazine is for users of Windows XP but may work with other operating systems.
://[user protection]/ To give your Windows account a password. Press Start then Control Panel. Click User Accounts (you may have to click a User Accounts icon again afterwards). Now click your account name (eg: James or Harry). Click Create a password. You should be able to continue from here!
://[file protection]/ Hi-light the files you want to password protect and right click on one of them. Click Send To > then Compressed (Zipped) Folder. You will now have a folder with a zip on it. Right click and press Add a password. Follow the steps. Once you are done try opening one of the files in your zipped folder. It will tell you "you need a password"!
