yeah, that episode reminded me about alien, with something roaming the ship, and the captain reminds me of ripley! (for some strange reason)

if you've seen alien, you probably know what i mean, it's kinda hard to describe her in much detail, she's a captain of a spaceship, and usually is the main character in the alien series
